Often times non-salesmen look at what we do as magic. Our closing statements sound like encantations, our intuition is scarily like voodoo. They don’t know how to pull the client out of the hats in the ways that we do. But to us, its just our job – it is what we do. Both your team and your clients are going to see the things you do as impossible for them.
You need to remember that you’re doing things that they can’t do, not to be arrogant or cocky about it, but to remember that if you’re not getting praise or reassurance from them it isn’t because they don’t appreciate you – it is because they don’t understand the magic.
Magic only happens in the minds of the spectators but if the magician doesn’t believe in his spells there will be no magic show and happy audience.
