The Truth Will Set You Free
….but first it will piss you off. I saw Tony Robbins speak recently and that one line struck a huge nerve with me. There are plenty of people who are trapped in their own realities right now, stuck in their own world because they can’t see the bigger picture of what is going on around them. We all do this. We get caught up in our idea and don’t ask for, or listen to honest feedback. People don’t like to hear that their idea isn’t good – just like no one wants to hear that their kid is ugly – but sometimes that’s just the way it is.
Sometimes all it takes is listening to people who don’t have a stake in what you’re doing. Listen for honest feedback, for real criticism, for ways to be better or to do it at all.
Find the truth, it probably isn’t going to come from your own viewpoint on what you’re doing.

Sales people in general… believe their own “story” way too much and it leads to self limiting outcomes.
